[ She smiles, even as another shiver runs through her body as he nuzzles and kisses her cheek. She reaches up to gently play with some of his hair. ]

I don't really mind what we do. As long as I can spend a little more time with you, then I'm happy.

[Hmm.

He could take her out to dinner. They could go out on his yacht. Maybe go swimming? But then they could just remain here, maybe watch something on the pokegear while they cuddle. He'd suggest taking her out on Chafu but he knows it's not entirely her thing.]

You hungry? We could go to that poke food truck Hunk likes that sometimes stops on the island...

[ Now that he mentions food, Fluttershy realizes that she doesn't actually know what time it is, or how long it's been since she's last eaten. So, after thinking about it for a moment, she nods. ]

Okay...that does sound nice.

[Marik has no idea either. It was mid-morning when he was about to leave his place. Maybe it's that for this world as well? At least he hopes. This way he has the entire day with Shy...

The Egyptian takes a hold of her hand and gently leads her out of the house and along the beach front as he heads in the direction he remembers Hunk led him to.

... It's hard not to look at her. He's with Fluttershy again... Marik can feel his cheeks flush slightly as he returns his focus on the path in front of them.]

So... Do you... have any plans for the next while...? Any projects you're working on...?

[Marik knows it's only been two weeks but still. A lot can change in a short amount of time.]

[ Fluttershy can't help a smile, holding Marik's hand as they head out of her room. There's a part of her that's worried they might end up being flung somewhere random, but luck seems to be kind to them right now as they step out into the familiar scenery of Four Island.

As they walk, she can't help resting her head on his shoulder, just wanting to be close to him for as long as they have. ]

Mm...no, not really? I've just been...working, and taking care of Pokemon.

[ Throwing herself into her work had helped a bit with losing him after he had disappeared. ]

[He's very glad they were separated. There was the risk of it but... if them holding hands was how they remained together the first time, it will likely work this time, right?

Marik's smile widens and his cheeks darken as Fluttershy leans against his shoulder. It's so wonderful to be with her again.

He's not surprised she's been keeping herself busy since his disappearance. He'll need to think of more suggestions for her before he returns home.]

I know... you're not particularly fond of ghost-types but... would you like me to leave Rana with you?

[His Cofagrigus. He's scary in appearance but rather docile and soldiery in behavior. Like a tomb guard.

Fitting for something to watch over and protect her, in Marik's eyes.]

[ A bit surprise, Fluttershy lifts her head to look up at Marik. ]

Really? Would...that be okay?

[ It's true that she was mostly afraid of Ghost Pokemon in general, but it's different with Ghost Pokemon that she knows. And honestly, it would be nice having one of Marik's Pokemon with her, because it would be a way of staying connected with him, even if he isn't here anymore. ]

Why wouldn't it be?

[He puffs up slightly with pride, giving her hand a squeeze.]

What better pokémon for your Tomb Keeper boyfriend to give you to remember him by and to protect you than a living Sarcophagus?

[ She giggles softly. ] That is true.

Honestly, I would love to have him. I promise, I'll make sure to take good care of him.

I'm glad.

[His cheeks flush slightly and he leans over to kiss her cheek.]

I know you will. You're a pro at taking care of pokémon. He'll be happy with you.

[A pause and a sheepish grin.]

If. Uh. If he starts walking on all fours, he's got someone locked inside of him. It doesn't hurt them, just... is a bit unsettling.

[Marik, that's not going to help her feel comfortable around Rana.]

[ The kiss to her cheek has her flushing a little again, though she can't help a bright smile. She really has missed him.

Though Marik's next words do have her pause a moment. ]

Ah...well, we'll...keep an eye on that, then.

He knows better not to do it but... just a warning.

[Marik perks up.]

Oh, but he does make a good hiding spot if you find yourself in trouble!

[He totally didn't get curious and climb into the Sarcophagus himself. Nope.]

Oh really? [ To be honest, Fluttershy had wondered that too, but she never would have been brave enough to test it out for herself. ] That's good to know. I'll have to keep that in mind.

[ She does feel the need to hide a lot. ]

And you know you'll be safe inside him too.

[They finally reach the Poke food truck and Marik looks over the different dishes.]

Hmm... Do you want Impossible Fish or just Veggies? I think the Veggie one comes with extra avocado.

[ With a giggle, she nods. ] I'm sure I would be.

[ Looking over the different options, she hums softly. ] I don't think I've ever tried the Impossible Fish before. Do you know if it's good?

Eheheh.

[He scratches his cheek nervously.]

It's decent. Has a vague fish flavor to it but the texture is more like a plant-based burger... so a little odd if you're not expecting it.

[ Fluttershy considers that for a moment. ] I don't think I've ever actually had fish before. [ She'd been vegetarian for a long time, after all, though she does know at least what fish smells like. She isn't sure if that's something she'd really want to try, honestly. ]

I think I might just get the regular vegetable one.

The vegetable one is really good. I think you'll like it.

[Fish is definitely an acquired taste. Marik isn't the biggest fan of red meat but does enjoy white meat.

For her sake though, he'll get a veggie bowl as well.]

Wanna order some edamame as an appetizer? We can share it.

Mm, it does sound really good.

Oh yes! That sounds lovely.

[ She doesn't tend to eat a lot in general, so it's probably for the best that they share. ]

And whatever we don't eat, you can have as left over or feed to the pokemon!

[He walks up to the foodtruck, orders their food, and pays, then moves off to the side while they wait.]

You have any plans for the coming months?

[ Fluttershy giggles softly. ] That is true.

[ She does think for a moment as she considers his question, then shakes her head a little. ]

Not really. I haven't really thought much about what else I'm doing aside from working.

[ She might have thrown herself into her job after he left. ]

[Marik knows why.

He reaches for her hand and takes it into both of his, placing a feather soft kiss to her knuckles.]

... Don't let it consume your time. Maybe... you could pick up a new hobby? And your pokémon can help you with it. Like, something you could do together.

[Rana would gladly help regardless of what it might be. He has hands, after all. Shadowy hands but they're still hands.]

[ Fluttershy feels her cheeks warm at the sweet gesture, even as she ducks her head a bit. ]

I-I mean...it's not like I don't enjoy what I do. I get to help Pokemon, which always makes me happy.

[ But she does know that she should do more than just work. ]

...but yeah. A new hobby might be a good idea. I'll see if there's something my Pokemon and I can do together.

[Gods, he missed this. Looking back at the time that's passed and being able to remember everything now... It makes him happy to be with her.

Marik continues to hold Shy's hand with both of his own.]

That's a good idea. Even if it's something you just do once a week, I think it will help you.

[Because he wants her to be happy now that he can't be here to do so himself.]

Have you ever tried your hand at painting? That could be really fun with the pokémon.

[ Fluttershy hums softly, giving his hands a gentle squeeze. It's been difficult, missing him so much, but she doesn't want him to worry about her. ]

Well...I've painted a few things before, but I've never really learned how to paint. That could be fun, though, drawing and painting Pokemon. I could give that a try.
