[Marik's face lights up and he leans in to the gear in a pointless attempt to try and see the video feed more closely.]

Kaiba...! Are those... babies?!

[DID SOMEONE SAY BABIES. Oba flings himself at the side of Marik's face and bumps him out of the way - and out of the video feed's view. There's the usual "nyyagh!" noise from the blonde as he falls over.

Give them a second while he climbs back up with Oba on his shoulder.]

They settled in quickly, didn't they? That's good!

[Oba vibrates on Marik's shoulder which is kind of brain jostling.]

Looks like Oba's excited to be an uncle.

And I've been doing well. I've been working with Hunk to try and get some Cyclizar eggs going. As soon as we've gotten a successful batch, I'll be sending one your way!

[There's a pause.]

Hey, Kaiba... Perhaps this is a silly question but... you're good with designing buildings and the like, right?

Mm. I definitely wasn't expecting these two to do this.

[ He gives King and Mizuchi a Look, but they're just happily cooing over their babies. King does walk closer to do an antenna-bump against the screen for his little bro, though. ]

And I'm more of an inventor than an architect, but I know enough about what makes a building functional. What do you need from me?

Yes, I'm surprised too!

[Oba hops on to the table the gear is resting on and bumps his own antenna against the camera then... proceeds to ramble on about his day. After congratulating his big brother and Mizuchi, of course.]

... Since vehicles aren't really accessible here... Cyclizar is the closest we've gotten to something like that thanks to the Giftmas eggs. I was thinking... what if I started a dealership?

[ King listens patiently and tells Oba how proud he is of his brave little brother exploring the world. Soft and sweet goom conversations.

Meanwhile, it's feeding time. Kaiba scoops up the baby girl Goomy and feeds her a few of King's favorite leaves. She munches happily. ]

Sounds like you'd be set for life. Is your Cyclizar big enough to ride yet?

Marik actively has to stop himself from letting out a squeal at how cute and small the baby girl is. So it just comes out as a contained "mmmpphh." Hhhh Goomeys. How are they so freaking cute?

Oba vibrates excitedly. Hihi niece!]

At least until they decide to let us have real vehicles but in the meantime, Cyclizar's appearance was timed rather well.

[His grin widens.]

He is! I've tried riding him a few times in Goldenrod near the beach so I'm not disturbing too many people. It's exhilarating. Exactly what I've wanted all this time. I think he easily can reach over 60mph.

The next time you're in town, let me know and you can test drive him!

[ Kaiba smiles as he watches the baby eat. He's still thinking of names for her. She's a sweet little one, like King had been...hm. ]

I can be there tomorrow. I've missed faster travel, though Zephyra and Aura do their best.

[ He bounces the baby in his lap thoughtfully once she's done eating. ]

I think her name will be Sakuma.

Same here. And that works for me. Heck, I could just come over for the weekend... if you and Kisara are alright with it?

[Cue more gushing from Marik and Oba. Look at the baby!]

Sakuma... Like the candy?

Of course you can. We just might have to make room for one of us to sleep in the nursery. And that's right, King was named after a candy too. It seemed to suit him.

[ He holds the baby up and addresses her seriously. ]

Do you like that name? Do you want to be Sakuma?

[ She burbles happily. Looks like that's a yes! And with another playful giggle, she waves her antenna at Marik and Oba. Hi! ]

[He stands up and places a hand on his heart, looking rather confident of himself. What a ham.]

As uncle to King and Mizuchi, and great uncle to Sakuma and the horsea babies, I will take it upon myself to sleep in the nursery.

[King as body pillow? King as body pillow.

Oba vibrates excitedly as he always does and waves to Sakuma. HELLO.]

Yes, I love the name. It's perfect for her.

[ Sakuma bounces up. She's so happy! Can't wait to meet them in person! ]

You sure about that? They'd love to have you, but King might not let you go.

[ King sounds offended. Oops. But he's totally guilty as charged. ]

[The blonde can't help but laugh.]

That's a sacrifice I'm willing to take.

[Goomy heaven. He's very much looking forward to it. Sleeping on King with Chen and two Goomy babies. What could be better than that?]

You want me to bring anything else with me?

Just anything you need to be comfortable.

The two Horsea have been adopted, so they'll be leaving soon...but Sakuma's here to stay.

[ Still, the Horsea need care too! He scoops them up and feeds them, gently tickling their bellies when they're done, and they're just as cute. They bubble happily. They'll be well taken care of in their new families...not that one of them is going far, being Kisara's. ]

We have plenty of room for your team regulars to be out and about in here. As long as everyone behaves.

I'm glad they have good homes to go to. If you're alright with it, maybe I can take Sakuma with me from time to time? Not for long periods of time though. I don't want to separate her from King too much.

[They're so cute. Marik's absolutely melting and will only do so even more when he gets there.]

You know they will. Usi's the only one who might act up but if Zil's there, that'll keep him distracted.

[ Kaiba laughs and shifts Sakuma forward on his lap, letting her look at the screen. ]

All right. Would you like that? Do you want to go on a trip with Uncle Marik and Uncle Oba?

[ Sakuma burbles, happy as ever. ]

I'll let her bond with you this weekend, then. I think she'd like that.

[His face hurts from grinning so much. Oba jumps around happily. Yay! Get to meet niece!]

You have no idea how excited I am to meet her in person, Kaiba.

[ It isn't unusual for Fluttershy to call or text Marik throughout the week, depending on how busy either of them are. So it shouldn't be any surprise when he gets a call that afternoon, around the usual time that Fluttershy gets off from work.

But when he picks up, he might notice a bit of a bemused expression on her face, even as she smiles to greet him. ]

Hi, Marik.

[And as always, Marik's happy to see her in any capacity. His face immediately lights up when he starts his video feed.]

Hey, Shy.

[There's a pause as he notices her expression. His eyebrows arch slightly but he continues smiling, hoping that it isn't anything he's done to warrant that look.]

Everything alright...?

[ Fluttershy hums softly, tilting her head a bit. ] Oh yes, everything's fine. Sorry. Just, um...I got this weird invitation in the mail today.

[ Reaching for something off screen, she then adjusts the invitation on the screen so that he would be able to read it. ]

Of course I'll go with you. Thanks for extending the invitation to me. Maybe I can learn some things there to help me with the dealership.

[Another pause as he realizes how that may have come across as overly confident.]

... If that's what you're insinuating, I mean. I don't want to just invite myself along.

[ With a soft giggle, she nods. ] Yes, I'd really like to bring you as my guest. It's a bit...I dunno, strange? It doesn't even say what kind of event it is, and I'd just feel better if you were there with me.

[He fiddles with his earring as he chuckles nervously.]

Yeah, of course. You know I'm more than happy to accompany you to anything no matter the reason. From the phrasing of the invitation, it seems like it'll be pretty official...

[A pause before his eyes light up a little.]

... You wanna have matching outfits? Not identical or anything but maybe colors and accessories that work together?

[Marik you dork.]

[ She smiles, a little relieved. ] Thanks, Marik. It does feel pretty official. Even the paper the invitation is printed on feels expensive.

[ She hadn't quite expected that, and she can't help a soft laugh. ] Well, um, we could! I'm not even really sure what to wear, though. It doesn't give any kind of dress code or clue of what we'll even be doing.

[He chuckles at that.]

No need to thank me. I'll take any excuse to spend more time with you.

... And it looks expensive. I don't know how that's possible.

[Marik hums in thought and taps his cheek.]

Judging by the wording, the way the letter is presented, and the name of the organization, I'd be willing to bet it'll be pretty formal. Still, we don't need to go that route. I can wear one of my more "business casual" outfits. I think one of your sundresses with a light cardigan would work perfectly if you're alright with that.

[He means his more yakuza style outfits when he says "business casual."]

[ Her smile softens a bit, and some of the nerves about this whole thing do seem to ebb. Having him there with her really will help her feel better.

She considers his suggestion for a moment, then nods. ] I think that would work. I don't know if I have anything that fancy anyway, and I'd probably prefer the sundress anyway. Maybe something spring-colored? I know it's not spring yet, but it should be getting warmer soon.

I wouldn't want you to go fancy if you aren't feeling it anyways. Whatever makes you the most comfortable. We don't need to stay long either.

Hmmm... I'll rock white and lavender then to match you! And maybe we can go out for dessert afterwards?
